Fire Breaks Out at Manchester Apartment Building
Manchester, N.H; Manchester Fire Department Says a fire near a stove top was the cause of a Fire Alarm Activation at an Eastern Ave Apartment Complex.
According to Manchester Fire, MFD dispatch received an automatic fire alarm for this address at 1058.Upon arrival firefighters discovered water and smoke in a3rd floor apartment.

Incident Summary: MFD dispatch received an automatic fire alarm for this address at 1058.
Upon arrival firefighters discovered water and smoke in a
3rd floor apartment. Further investigation revealed a small fire near the stove top that the sprinkler system partially extinguished. Firefighters extinguished the remainder of the fire then provided assistance to the
occupants of the apartments on the 1st and 2nd floor that were being effected by the water
draining down on their possessions. Extensive salvage operations were carried out to save their
belongings.
Any Special Features:30 unit apartment had to be evacuated. Medical assistance provided to a
tenant during the operation.
